摘要
本文介绍生物检定中Cooper方程式的意义,其中提出的临界浓度和临界时间的概念能很好地说明抑菌圈形成的原因。实验结果表明,Cooper方程式能很好地符合螺旋霉素、林可霉素、四环素和青霉素的生物检定数据。当和常用的按浓度的对数与抑菌圈的直径进行关联的方法比较时,发现两者的线性程度基本相同,但以Cooper方程式较好。
Significance of Cooper Equation applied to antibiotic bioassay has been stressed. The concepts of critical concentration and critical time are shown to be very useful in explaining the formation of inhibition zone. Experimental results have revealed Cooper Equation to be well served to the assay of spiramycin, lincomycin, tetracycline and penicillin G. As compared with the usual method of correlating the logarithm of concentration with the diameter of inhibition zone, correlation with Cooper equation was slightly better.
