稀土石英光纤的研究

摘要 本文通过氢氧焰熔制、升华或溶液浸渍的气相沉积工艺制备铈、镨、钐、销、铽、钦、镱、钕和铒离子掺杂的稀土石英光纤,掺杂浓度在50-5,000ppm范围内。对光纤的光谱损耗、激发和荧光特性研究的结果表明:5种光纤具有紫外激发荧光效应,为紫外传感器提供了功能光纤。钕和铒掺杂光纤在氩离子激光激励下获得094、1.08和1.53μm的红外荧光。 Rare-earth silica optical fibers doped with Ce^(3+),Pr^(3+),Sm^(2+),Eu^(2+),Tb^(3+),Ho^(3+),Nd^(3+),Yb^(3+)and Er^(3+) lons are studied in this work. The concentration of doped ions are in 50 to 5,000 ppm range, The preform of optical fiber were prepared by two kinds of processes: melting in oxy-hydrogen flame and MCVD technology of sublimation or maceration. Spectra attenuation, fluorescence and excitation spectra of some optical fibers have been measured. The result indicates that five kinds of fiber have the effect of fluorescence as UV light excitation, it is provided that function optical fiber for UV sensors. Nd^(3+)and Er^(3+)ions doped silica optical fi- ber have been observed IF fluorescence at 0.94,1.08 and 1.53μm as excited by Ar ion laser.
