摘要
以宁波地区大型服装企业简介英译文为样本,在翻译目的论的框架下,分析企业简介译文的文本功能、翻译目的和翻译要求;分析了其在文化和语言层面出现的翻译问题并提出改进策略,总结了适用于企业简介汉英翻译的方法,如增添、删减和重组等;同时归纳了企业简介译文质量不高的原因,提出了有利于提高企业简介译文质量的对策。
In this study,the intended functions of English versions of online apparel company profiles together with their purposes and translation brief are investigated;based on a critical analysis of translation problems arising in apparel company profiles in Ningbo conducted under the framework of Skopostheorie,some improved translations as well as concrete translation methods are provided,such as addition,deletion,and reformulation.In addition,the reasons for dissatisfactory translations of company profiles and strategies to improve the quality of English versions of company profiles are elaborated.
