摘要
约翰·格雷为"旨在忠于伦理生活的价值多元主义"作出了突出的贡献。他的多元价值观念,其宗旨是忠于伦理生活,特性是不可通约性,指向是权宜之计。他试图通过"权宜之计"协调不可通约的价值观念之间的冲突,以实现其共存。这种多元价值观念,不仅为政治体制的建设提供了建设性的探询,而且对我国道德教育摆脱其在多元社会中所面临的困境,也具有重要的借鉴意义。
John Gray has made outstanding contributions to the＂ pluralism of values loyal to ethical life＂. His pluralism ;which is characterized by incommensurability, directs towards temporary solution is aimed at being loyal to ethical life. He attempted to compromise the conflicts between incommensurable values with ＂quick fixes＂ to achieve their coexistence. This diversity of values not only provides construc- tive exploration for the eongtruction of political system, but also supplies reference for our moral education to get rid of the predmament it faces in the current pluralistic society.
