摘要
庞德是开创现代主义诗歌的诗人和翻译家。庞德的翻译涉及面广,大量译作反映了明确且系统的翻译理念。庞德译作体现了翻译生态的平衡、翻译生态的"适应和选择"规律、翻译生态的进化,其平衡体现在译者和作者、译者和读者的和谐统一,适应选择规律体现在庞德对社会生态环境、文化生态环境、翻译生态环境的适应行为和其主观选择对环境的促进作用,进化则体现在庞德"译有所为",利用译作推动意象主义诗歌、现代主义文学发展的作用上。
Ezra Pound is the poet and translator that blazes new trail for modernist poetry in America. His translations cover widely in time and space,which reflects his evident and systematic translational theories. This paper, from the fresh perspective of ecotranslatology,explores Pound＇s translations as the reflection of the balance,the adaptation and selection rule,the evolution of the translational ecosystem. The balance of the system is shown in the harmony between the writer and the translator, the translator and the reader, the adaptation and selection rule in Pound＇s adaptation in his translation to the social environment,the cultural environment and the translational environment, the evolution in Pound＇s intention to achieve through translation as to promote the Imagist movement and the development of modernist literature.
