摘要
黄河源区自然条件严酷,生态环境脆弱。随着黄河源区资源开发力度逐步加大,草场和灌丛植被遭到不同程度的破坏,生态环境日趋恶化。具体表现为草原退化严重,水土流失加剧,土地荒漠化扩大,水源涵养能力大为降低。因此,保护黄河源区生态环境,建立黄河源头特殊生态功能保护区已刻不容缓。
In the source region of the Huanghe River, originally, the natural condition is harsh and the ecological environment is fragile. With intensifying exploitation of the resources, the grassland and shrubby vegetation in the region has been damaged to a varying extent. As a result, the eco environment is deteriorating with each passing day, with concrete manifestation in degradation of the grassland, aggravation of soil and water loss, expansion of land desertification and reduction of the ability of water conservation. It is, therefore, of great urgency protect the eco environment of the source region of the Huanghe River by means of setting up a special ecological function reserve.
