This paper introduces a new flexible graphite covered wave-serrated metal gasket with an extensive application in pressure vessels.This type of gasket combines some advantages of other types of gasket and overcomes their disadvantages.Many successful practices prove that the new gasket may provide superior performance and it's worthy of application and dissemination.
