On the Transformation of Higher Engineering Professional Teachers′ Role Based on the Concept of CDIO

摘要 CDIO是以产品研发到产品运行的生命周期为载体,以主动的、实践的、课程之间有机联系的方式督促学生学习的一整套工程教育理念和实施体系。中国引入CDIO理念对高等工程教育改革具有极其重要的意义。在CDIO教育模式下,高等工程专业教师必须提升自己的能力,努力转变其角色定位,从单一讲授者转型为课程设计者、学生的引导者、学生学习效果的评估者等复合型角色。 The concept of CDIO is the latest achievement of the reform of the international engineering edu- cation in recent years. It takes the product life cycle from product research and development to operation as the carrier to supervise the students' learning by way of being active , practical and holding the organic connection between courses. It is a whole set of engineering education philosophy and imple- mentation system. It is of great significance for Chinese higher engineering education reform to intro- duce the idea of CDIO. According to the education mode of CDIO, higher engineering professional teachers must improve their skills, try to change their role, positioning by transforming from mere teachers to multiple roles of the curriculum designers, students' instructors ,students' learning assessors and etc.
