摘要
How to cultivate the principal part concept of learners not only has bearing on learners’ study effects but also on their future developments. This essay mainly elaborates on the formation and features of the principal part concept of learners, as well as the theoretical foundations of and prerequisites for its cultivation.\;The writer proposes that, the principal part concept consists of individual one and social one. The former mainly refers to the definite design, performance, evaluation and adjustment of one’s own psychology, emotions, studies and life; while the latter includes the concepts of participation, of management, of morals, of democracy, of self-display and of self-realization. It has three features. Firstly, the level of principal part concept varies according to the phase of age of learners. Secondly, its level varies according to individual’s concentration direction and capacity, selection ability as well as educational background.\;The writer supposes that, there are two theoretical foundations in the cultivation of the principal part concept of learners. One is the theory of need and interest of psychology, another if Marxism philosophy of the dialectical relationship between internal and external cause. The guide of these theories will undoubtedly exert great influence of the individual development, school education and society advancement. As for the prerequisites for the cultivation of the principal part concept of learners, the paper puts forward that, from the angle of social expectations the concept of employment is decisive to that of education and learning. From the angle of a family, parents should discuss the goals of study with their child, instead of imposing on their child those targets they failed bo achieve, which is an essential and new concept. From the angle of educational branches, school leaders in particular, shousd transform the evaluation system of educational achievements, and the rate of entering a higher school shoulen’t remain to be the only standard of evaluationg educational achievements. From the angle of learners, they should learn how to study, how to apply, how to create, under the correct guidance of their teachers. In short, we should make learners treat the acquiring of knowledge as a kind of fun and keep it lifelong, which might be the ultimate purpose of the cultivation of learners’ principal part concept.
