摘要
本文重点探讨外语课堂教学多模态话语中不同模态之间的配合与协同。本文以一堂英语课堂教学示范课中的课堂话语为语料,探讨在课堂教学中口语模态和PPT模态组合的相互配合及其在词汇与语法层面上的体现,以及词汇、语法与语篇的关系,并对相关问题进行了评论,包括模态之间的协同以及多模态语法的建构和运用等。研究发现:同一模态在不同教学阶段发挥着迥异的功能,多模态语法单位可以根据多模态语篇的最小单位的体现形式而确定,对模态的选择是根据不同教学阶段的不同教学目标来确定的。
This article focuses on the synergy between different modalities in classroom multimodal discourse in foreign language teaching. By taking the classroom multimodal discourse of an English class as data, the present study investigates the cooperation and synergy between the oral mode and the modality set presented by PPT, their realization in lexis and grammar, and the relationship between lexicogrammar and the text. The discussion covers the related issues,including the synergy between modali- ties and the construction and use of multimodal grammar. It is found that the same modality may play different functions in different stages of classroom teaching, the unit of multimodal grammar can be determined by the form of realization of the smallest unit of multimodal text, and the choice of modality is made according to the teaching objectives at different stages of the teaching process.
