摘要
在桑塔格的小说《死亡之匣》中,主人公迪迪为弄清自己是否曾杀过人而展开了调查,然而随着调查的深入,他发现越来越多混乱、无意义、彼此矛盾的信息,以至于最终迷失于不确定性的迷宫。小说通过对迪迪追寻确定性经历的描写,展现了人类社会信息领域的高熵现象。
In order to make sure whether he had committed murder or not,Diddy,the protagonist in Susan Sontag＇s Death Kit,began his investigation of certainty.However,as the investigation deepened,more and more messages emerged.They were so confused,meaningless,and inconsistent with one another that at last Diddy inevitably got lost in the labyrinth of uncertainty.Through the recount of Diddy＇s life experience,Susan Sontag shows us the highly entropic phenomenon in information in human society.
