摘要
在广东省17所独立学院中,英语专业方向主要设置了商务英语方向、翻译方向、旅游英语方向、英语教育方向。它们在培养目标、专业方向课程、就业方向方面具有各自的特点。在考虑专业方向设置时,独立学院应从社会需求、生源能力与学院自身的条件出发,设置出较为合理的专业方向。
Among 17 independent colleges in Guangdong Province, the major orientations of English have mainly been divided into commercial English, translation, tourism English and English education. They have respective characteristics in the training goal, the curriculum of major orientation and the employment direction. When considering the establishment of major orientations, independent colleges should establish a more reasonable major orientation according to social demands, students＇ ability and the condition of colleges.
