以水为分散介质,在过氧化苯甲酰引发下,制备了无凝胶、接枝率可达3.6%的马来酸二丁酯(DBM)接枝茂金属聚乙烯(mPE)(mPE-g-DBM)。X射线衍射分析表明接枝在非晶形区进行,既没破坏聚乙烯(PE)分子骨架结构,又将极性单体DBM接枝到PE分子链上。接枝产物的熔体流动速率(MFR)随接枝率升高而降低,接枝率为3.6%的接枝产物的MFR由纯mPE的3.8g~10min降至2.3g~10min,流动性能变差。接枝产物的剪切强度随接枝率增加而提高,接枝率为3.6%的接枝产物的剪切强度由纯mPE的0.8 MPa增至7.7 MPa.黏接性能得到极大提高。
A kind of gel-free dibutyl maleate grafted metallocene polyethylene(mPE-g-DBM) with a grafting ratio of 3.6% was prepared in water dispersion medium in the presence of benzoyl peroxide as initiator. X-ray diffractometry(XRD) analysis indicates that the grafting reaction is carried out in the amorphous region; the polar monomer DBM can be grafted onto the molecular chain of roPE without militating against the molecular skeleton of roPE. The melt flow rate(MFR) of the graft product decreases with the augmentation of graft ratio. The graft product with the graft ratio of 3.6% has a lower MFR of 2.3 g/10 min in comparison with 3.8 g/10 min of the pure roPE, leading to inferior flowability of the graft product. The shear strength of the graft product increases as the graft ratio rises. The shear strength of the said graft product increases to 7.7 MPa from 0.8 MPa of pure mPE, indicating that the adhesive properties of the product improve dramatically.
