Clinical observation of EXCEL biodegradable polymer drug-eluting stents in the treatment of 42 elderly patients with unstable angina

摘要 目的评价载雷帕霉素可降解聚合物涂层支架(EXCEL支架)应用于老年不稳定心绞痛患者的临床疗效及安全性。方法选择住院接受EXCEL支架治疗的42例老年(年龄≥75岁)的不稳定型心绞痛患者,观察术后即刻效果,术后12个月主要不良心脏事件(MACE)、全因死亡和血栓事件发生率。结果 42例患者全部完成随访,术中和随访期间无死亡及其他MACE发生。结论应用EXCEL支架治疗老年不稳定型心绞痛是安全和有效的。 Objective To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of EXCEL biodegradable polymer drug-elu- ting stents in the treatment of 42 elderly patients with unstable angina. Methods A total of 42 hospitalized patients treated by percutaneous coronary intervention with EXCEL stents were studied. The immediate successful rate of inter- ventional therapy were observed. The major adverse cardiac events(MACE) including cardiac death, non-fatal myocar- dial infarction and target lesion revascularization were followed-up for one year. Results All patients finished 1-year follow-up. No death and any other MACEs were observed during the follow-up period of time. Conclusion The im- plantation of EXCEL biodegradable polymer drug-eluting stents is safe and effective in the treatment of elderly patients with unstable angina.
