摘要
思维能力和语言发展紧密相连。针对非英语专业学生英语写作中最突出的语篇连贯问题,对70名非英语专业学生的作文从文章切题性、观点明确性、篇章连贯性、说理透彻性、作文总分五个方面进行统计分析,数据统计结果显示造成中国大学生英语作文中常见连贯问题的隐性原因在于中国学生批判性思维能力特征。
Considering the interrelation between thinking qualities and language development, this article, responding to the coherence problem in Chinese students' English writing, involving 70 non-English majors, collects data on task response, opinion, structure and reasoning from a writing task. The research results show that the strong link between writing process and the writer's critical thinking qualities is the underlying cause for discourse weaknesses of the Chinese students.
