Preventive Effect and Mechanism of Baicalin Which Resist Cardiac Toxicity Induced by Azithromycin

摘要 目的:研究黄芩苷对阿霉素所致心脏毒性的预防性作用及可能的机制。方法:64例接受CAF化疗方案的乳腺癌患者被随机分为预防组和对照组,预防组化疗前及化疗同时口服黄芩苷胶囊,对照组单用化疗。化疗1个周期后比较患者心电图(electro-cardiograph,ECG)、左室射血分数(left ventricular ejection fraction,LVEF)变化、血浆超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)、血浆心肌肌钙蛋白I(cardiac troponin I,cTnI)。结果:预防组ECG异常改变较少、SOD、LVEF降低少,cTnI增加少。结论:黄芩苷可能通过降低自由基抗阿霉素所致心脏毒性。 Objective: To study the effect of Baicalin on preventing Adriamycin-induced cardiotoxicity in patients and possible mechanism. Methods: 64 patients with breast cancer treated by CAF chemical therapy were randomly divided into two groups, preventive group and control group. The patients take Baicalin capsule orally before and on period of chemical therapy in preventive group, while the patients were treated with only chemical therapy in control group. The cardiotoxicity was assessed by measuring electrocardiograph (ECG), left ventricular ejection function (LVEF), plasma superoxide dismutase (SOl3),plasma cardiac troponin I(cTnI) at the end of the first period. Results: Anormal ECG, the increase of the plasma cTnI and the decrease of the LVEF and the plasma SOD were fewer (P〈0. 05) in preventive group than those of control group. Conclusion: Baicalin prevents Adriamycin-induced cardiotoxicity in patients through decreasing oxygen free radical production probably.
