摘要
城市公共图书馆应做好准确的服务定位,包括服务区域、服务内容、服务对象和服务形象。服务定位要尽量满足读者需求,突出特色和品牌,并具有短期稳定性和长期适应性。服务定位是一项实实在在的战略选择,必须有配套策略和保障措施来支持,一要与政府公共政策相一致,二要确立内部管理结构和业务流程,三要对区域内图书馆进行明确分工,四要树立营销观念。
Urban public libraries should make exact locations of the service, including service areas, service contents, service objects and service images. These locations must satisfy the library users' requirements as far as possible, highlight the characteristic and the brand and have a short-term stability and a long-term adaptability. Making library service locations is a real strategic choice, which must have the supports of matching strategies and ensuring measures. First, it should act in accord with government's public policy; second, it should establish an internal management structure and a business process; third, it should clearly divide the functions of regional libraries; fourth, it should establish a marketing idea.
