摘要
针对铸铁镀锌容器锌液腐蚀失效的问题,开展了铸铁熔铸渗硼表面合金化的试验研究。结果表明:在铸铁表面可获得2.1~2.4 mm的渗硼层,渗硼层主要由FeB、FeB2及奥氏体转变产物组成;渗硼试样的腐蚀失重率为普通铸铁试样的1/8~1/4。渗硼层中的FeB、Fe2B与锌液的浸润性、反应性差是腐蚀失重率大幅降低的原因。应用考核表明,镀锌容器采用熔铸渗硼工艺后,使用寿命可提高8倍。
Experiment on boron alloying of gray casting iron surface layer by casting approach was conducted to deal with the problem of gray casting iron container failure by liquid zinc erosion.Results showed that a 2.1 to 2.4mm boron alloyed layer formed on the surface layer of casting iron samples,which consisted of FeB,Fe2B and austenite.The weight loss rate of the boron alloyed samples was 1/8 to 1/4 that of the non-alloyed ones.The wetting and reactivity of FeB,Fe2B of the alloyed layer with liquid zinc were bad,which may be the reason why the weight loss rate of boron alloyed samples dropped dramatically.
