在一般意义下讨论了摩擦学设计,涉及摩擦学设计的内容、目标和特征。强调摩擦学设计不能仅仅被理解为摩擦副的设计,更不能被理解为摩擦、磨损或润滑的设计。介绍了国内在转子- 轴承- 密封- 齿轮系统、推力轴承系统、缸套- 活塞- 活塞环系统、主动磁轴承系统和摩擦学机敏材料(或结构)系统设计方面所做的一些工作。国家自然科学基金委员会对这些研究提供了强有力的经费支持。
Tribology design is discussed in a general sense to utilize new possibilities provided by the development of systems engineering of tribo-systems. The contents, target and characteristics of tribology design are discussed. It is emphasized that the tribology design may not be understood only as the design of tribo-pairs, but also as friction plus wear plus lubrication. Results in the design of rotor-bearing-sealing-gear systems, thrust bearing systems, piston-rings-cylinder liner systems, active magnetic bearings and a smart tribo-material (or structure) in China are introduced. A Tribology Design Division and a Division for Building China Tribology Database are established in the Tribology Institution, CMES. The National Natural Science Fuundation of China provides strong financial supports in such activities.
