摘要
自称为"撒都"的白族小群体,他们的传统母语既不能与白语相通,也不能与当地彝族尼苏语通话。通过入户调查访谈、问卷和实地观察,以及400个核心词调查和测试,对该群体的语言现状有了比较全面的了解。结果显示,成年撒都人虽仍然使用母语,兼用汉语和彝族尼苏方言,但母语的固有词正在丢失。青年、少年母语使用人数呈阶梯式剧减,大多数人已转用汉语,兼用彝语。撒都话已面临严重濒危的威胁。
The Sadu,a small ethnic group living in peripheral Yuxi city in southwest China,which has a population of 1505(2009).Government lumped them into the Bai nationality in 1958.However,their language is very unique,which is not intelligible to Bai,nor to the neighbouring Yi nationality. This study was conducted to investigate the current language use situation of the Sadu.Data discussed in this paper has been collected from door to door visits,questionnaires,interviews,observation as well as 400 core-word tests.The findings provided evidence that the adults used mother tongue,Han and Yi languages.However,the vocabulary of mother tongue is losing.The use of mother tongue of juveniles and young children were declining in an alarm.The majority shifted Han and used Yi languages.The Sadu language is seriously endangered.
