摘要
任何言语都产生于特定的语言环境之中。与其它语言形式相比,英语习语对语境更加具有依赖性。英语习语的使用预示不同的语境条件,而不同的语境条件又反过来要求使用不同的英语习语。非语言语境对英语习语影响深远,因此理解与应用英语习语的重点应主要放在对非语言性语境的学习上。
All the speeches are born in specific language environment.Compared with other language forms,English idioms have more dependence on contexts.The use of English idioms foreshows different language environment conditions;conversely,the different conditions require the use of different idioms.Non-linguistic contexts have a far-reaching influence on English idioms,therefore,more attention should be paid on the non-linguistic contexts to better understand and use the English idioms.
