摘要
本文讨论了故障注入研究中的一些基本问题，为故障注入的研究建立了统一的理论框架．文章引入容错系统层次结构来描述故障注入的概念，将故障注入定义为一个试验过程．故障注入的原理被解释为组成该试验过程的四个步骤．故障注入的应用不仅包括评价容错机制，而且还可应用于更为广泛的领域．
Some basic problems in the research of fault injection are discussed and an unifying framework for the research of fault injection is presented in this paper. We describe the concept of the fault injection and define it as an experiment process on the basis of hierarchy architecture of the fault tolerant system. The principle of fault injection is explained as four steps, of which the process consists. The application of fault injection includes not only the evaluation of fault tolerance mechanisms, but also some more wide fields.
