摘要
本文从阐明研究胞外多聚物（Ｅｘｔｒａｃｅｌｌｕｌａｒ Ｐｏｌｙｍｅｒｓ，ＥＣＰ） 的重要性入手，从它的性质、来源，在污水和污泥处理中各方面的影响作用，以及胞外多聚物的分离提取方法几方面，综述了活性污泥胞外多聚物的研究发展和现状。
A thorough understanding of extracellular polymers(ECP)is of great importance in discovering the nature of biological treatment process.From this point of view,the progress of research on ECP was summarized in the paper with focus on characteristics and sources of extracellular polymers,their effects on wastewater and sludge treatment,and the methods of extracellular polymers extraction.Finally,some questions were proposed for further study.
