摘要
本文回顾了直接甲醇燃料电池(DMFC)的研究开发历史,系统阐述了DMFC系统中电催化剂选择与设计基本原则、电解质膜材料与甲醇渗透的关系。分析了电池工作温度、工作压力和甲醇进料方式对DMFC电化学性能的影响。
Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) produces electrical power by direct conversion of methanol fuel at the fuel cell anode. It can decrease the weight, volume, start-up time and response changes in power demand of the system because its methanol reformer system was eliminated. It could be applied in electric vehicle, portable plant and mobile phone conveniently. The history of R&D for DMFC is reviewed in this paper. We also have made a systematic exposition basic rule for the design of electrocatalysts. The relationship between the methanol crossover and electrolyte materials is explained. Effects of operation temperature, pressure and feed systems on the DMFC performance are analyzed.
