阐述了医院院长的职能定位,分析了现行医院院长体制的成绩与不足,在此基础上论述了建立职业化院长体制的必要性。指出,领导能力的培养和完善需要较长时间的实践过程;医院经营方向的制定目标实现需要主要领导的相对稳定;领导要有充足的时间、充沛的精力去发动群众,需要艺术化的沟通社会各界支持医院的改革举措;知识经济时代对领导提出了更高的要求;只有全面了解21世纪的医学发展动态,才能当好跨世纪的医院院长。
The system of professional hospital director is discussed and advocated on these considerations: experience and excellence in leading, organization and management are progressively developed into valuable abilities, which should be further practised, applied and perfected during the prime of work effectiveness and efficiency; chief leadership' s relative stability ensures a continuous structure for operational mechanisms, for setting priorities, for decisions and implementations; long -term and full - time chief cadres of leadership are necessary to analyse, stimulate, and coordinate the professional and scientific efforts of ateff members of hospitals as very complicated organizations; with the advent and development of knowledge economy, hospital leaderahip actively respond to the changing environment by developing far - sighted, broadly and professionally - based programs designed to ensure continued ability to serve diversified needs; hospital directors in the 21 st century are to have all - sided understanding of medical developments, take steps to keep up with the times, continuously liberating medical productive forces and realizing enormous benefits.
