摘要
《了不起的盖茨比》被公认为是美国文学史上的经典之作,而小说巨大文学成就的取得在很大程度上得益于小说主人公杰伊.盖茨比的成功塑造,笔者应用心理分析方法对作品的人物、主题、情节、作者以及作者与作品的关系进行分析,以期更好的理解小说的深层含义。
Fitzgerald＇s The Great Gatsby is regarded as a classic in American literature,which greatly benefit from the rich and profound connotations of the main persona： Gatsby.In this essay,psychoanalytic approaches are employed to the analysis of the characters,the theme,the plot and the relationship between the author and his writing in the hope of better understanding the deep meaning of the novel.
