摘要
为了研究不同粒径颗粒在水平回转窑内轴向混合运动机理,采用离散元软件EDEM对窑内颗粒轴向混合过程进行数值模拟,引入颗粒接触数动态跟踪颗粒的混合过程,以大、小颗粒接触数来衡量颗粒间的混合程度。结果表明:活动层内颗粒的运动速度较大;小颗粒轴向运动的主要方式是透过大颗粒间的间隙向大颗粒群渗透。
The discrete element code EDEM was developed to simulate the axial mixing of particles with different size in rotary kiln in order to investigate the mixing mechanism. The number of contacts was introduced to track the progress of mixing process and the number of contacts between the different particles Was taken as mixing index to analyze the degree of mixdeness. The results showed that the particle velocity was large in active layer, and the axial displacement of smaller particles was due to penetration of the smaller particles through the interval between larger particles.
