摘要
以D市Y县初中为对象,运用Gini系数、Theil系数测量工具,采用DID方法实证分析了初中进城的政策影响。研究发现:初中进城使Y县学生中考总分的均衡程度明显提高,数学成绩均衡程度的提高幅度最大,语文次之,英语最小;男女学生中考总分的均衡程度都有提高,男生提高幅度较大,女生相对较小,男女学生成绩均衡程度的差异明显缩小。说明初中进城对教育结果的公平产生了积极影响。
A policy of consolidating rural middle schools into urban area was implemented by the local government of Y County, D City in China. This paper empirically studies the effect of that policy, Methodology of DID and tools of Gini coefficient and Theil index were applied. The research indicates that this policy has brought up a remarkable increase of the degree of equilibrium of students' total scores of the senior middle school entrance examination. The biggest increased range comes to the subject of Math, with the subject of Chinese in the next place, and followed by English. When gender differences are taken into account, the increased range of male students is bigger than that of female students, and the discrepancy of equilibrium degree of scores between male and female students is considerably narrowed. The paper concludes that the policy of consolidating rural middle schools into urban area has positive effect on the educational output equity.
