Relationship between hyperlipidemia and diabetic neuropathy

摘要 糖尿病神经病变的发病机制复杂,病因尚未完全阐明。已有的研究证实氧化应激是发生糖尿病神经病变的基础。在临床中,单独控制血糖并不能阻止糖尿病并发症的发生,提示高血糖并不是体内诱导神经病变的唯一因素。研究显示,高脂血症是发生糖尿病神经病变的独立危险因素,高脂饮食可导致氧化型低密度脂蛋白水平升高和神经的氧化损伤。降脂药物可能有助于治疗糖尿病神经病变,抗氧化仍然是糖尿病神经病变最有希望的治疗策略。 The complex etiology of diabetic neuropathy is difficult to explore. There is a growing consensus that oxidative stress underlies the development of diabetic neuropathy. Separate control of blood glucose can't prevent occurrence of diabetic complications, suggesting that high glucose is not the only risk fac- tor. Hyperlipidemia is a major independent risk factor for the development of diabetic neuropatby. High-fat di- et can lead to elevated levels of oxidized low density lipoprotein and oxidative damage of nerve. Lipid-lowering agents may help to treat diabetic ncuropathy,and antioxidant is still the most promising treatment strategy.
