摘要
ESP(English for Specific Purposes,专门用途英语)教材是完成ESP教学的基础和保证。开展对ESP教材的研究,对完善教材编写体系和推动我国的大学英语教学改革具有重要意义。本文以分析ESP教材的功能为切入点,回顾了国内外外语教材的评估标准,并简要评析了国内ESP教材建设的现状,旨在通过对ESP教材编写原则的讨论,推进我国ESP课程的建设。
ESP materials play an important role in ESP teaching and learning process.Based on the analysis of the function of ESP materials,this paper reviews some key textbook evaluation systems and analyzes the current problems that exist in China＇s ESP material development.It suggests that a learning-centered approach be taken in ESP material development.And some important principles for compiling ESP textbooks are proposed,which aim to improve ESP teaching in China.
