功能高分子微球研究无乳化剂乳液聚合法合成苯乙烯-苯乙烯磺酸钠胶乳微球 被引量:19

摘要 在苯乙烯的无乳化剂乳液聚合反应体系中,引入少量(0~5.5×10^(-3)mol·L^(-1))的苯乙烯磺酸钠参加共聚合,使聚合条件及胶乳粒子性能均得到了改善。反应体系中加入电解质及增溶剂,调节体系的离子强度及粒子与溶剂的界面张力,有效地控制了粒径及粒子表面电荷密度。用电导滴定法准确地测量了胶乳粒子表面电荷密度。由该聚合体系制备出0.1~0.7μ的单分散性清洁胶乳粒子。 Emulsifier--free emulsion copolymerizations of styrene (st) and Sodiumstyrenesulfonate (SSS) were carried out with various molar ratio of St and SSS. Thepolymerization rate increased and the diameter of copolymer latex particles decreasedwith the increasing in the amount of SSS. The latex was stabilized by sulfonic acidgroups of SSS and sulfate end groups from the initiator K_2S_2O_8. A latex particle withlarger diameter and higher surface charge was obtained by increasing content ofmethanol in methanol--water system, initiator concentration. The polymerization tem-perature on the copolymerization behavior and properties of latex particles were exam-ined in detail. The stable and monodispersed latex particles were obtained.
