The first practice about the cathodic protection on under\|ground pipeline for an oil store in Hebei province has been described. In this project, We successfully used a new cathodic protection technique in cluding a flexible anode and monoblock insulating joint, to protect the pipeline system, which had been buried for more than 30 years, from external corrosion.\=
