摘要
本文以Arthur Waley《道德经》的翻译为例,结合深度翻译理论,解析深度翻译策略在典籍英译中对传递蕴含其中的中国传统文化的意义。
Thick translation enlightens the communication of culture in the translation of Chinese classics into a foreign language. Efforts are made to examine the translation of Tao Te Ching by Arthur Waley with the guiding principle of thick translation.
