SOS Chromogenic Test for Rapid Detection of Biological Genetic Toxicity of Nonvolatile Organic Compounds in Drinking Water

摘要 应用SOS显色试验和Ames 试验两种短期生物学试验,分别对武汉东湖水源水及其不同处理工艺出水中非挥发性有机物的致遗传毒性和致突变性进行了检测与比较。结果表明,东湖水源水为阴性结果,几种水处理工艺出水为阳性结果;SOS 显色试验对各水样的检测结果与Ames 试验基本一致;与Ames 试验相比,SOS显色试验还具有快速、简便、灵敏、准确等特点。 Using two short term biological tests-SOS chromogenic test and Ames test, the genetic toxicity and/or mutagenicity of nonvolatile organic compounds in source water and the drinking water treated with different processes, were detected and compared separately. The results showed that the source water of Donghu Lake was non-mutagenicity and the drinking water was genetic toxicity and/or mutagenicity in both tests. The results of SOS chromogenic test were similar to these of the Ames test. Compared with Ames test, SOS chromogenic test was quicker, simpler, more sensitive and accurate in measurement.
