摘要
本文结合对江门市的交通规划实践，认为把传统的交通模型与GIS相结合，有利于交通数据的分析处理和交通规划方案的综合评价，对于解决城市交通的实际问题有很大帮助。尽管这一初步尝试中仍有不少问题还需作进一步探讨，但GIS技术在城市交通规划中的应用，还是值得大力推广并加以开发的。
Based on the practice of transportation planning in Jiangmen City, the authors propose that thecombination of GIS and traditional transportation model is beneficial for analyzing and evaluatingtransportation data. It can also contribute to solve realistic problems of transportation.
