摘要
在我国城市化进程中，中等城市发展是较为活跃的．在未来的20年间，将会有一些中等城市实现向大城市的飞跃．而目前许多大城市存在的交通问题，就其根源可以探究到孕育其发展的中等城市甚至小城市．根据近年来对一些中等城市的交通调查研究的总结，结合国外城市交通发展的一些经验．分析了我国中等城市目前普遍存在的交通问题特征及发展趋势．并探讨了发展中的中等城市的交通规划应注意的几个方面．希望引起规划人员对中等城市交通规划的重视．能在目前这种大城市交通危机发生前。提出有效的控制策略出了说明问题，有些数据取至大城市）．
This paper analyses the characteristics and change of traffic problems in Chinese middle cities, and Proposes some key points of traffic planning in developing middle cities. The author emphasizes that traffic problem should be controlled and solved effectively in middle cities before its too late whem the cities become large.
