摘要文章重点对《朗文当代英语词典》(第五版)在搭配、同义词和语域三方面的修订进行评介:信息量大幅增加,内容深度也大为加强,编排方式有革新,改革搭配栏,增设同义词词典和语域说明。可以看出,第五版处处考虑使用者的实际需求,词典的编码功能得到强化,提高了学习者进行语言编码活动遇到困难而向词典求助时的查得率。
