摘要
荀子是先秦诸家之集大成者,其语言观以语言规范化为核心,视语言规范为转型时期社会规范的重要内容,强调"循旧作新"与"约定俗成",既适应当时文化重建大势之需,又提出了具体的实施纲领,并最终经由李斯等人的努力在秦得以实践。探讨荀子的语言规范思想对当今的语言文化建设具有一定的理论意义和实践价值。
Xun Zi＇s epitomizes the views of Confucian and other ancient Chinese philosophical schools in pre-Qin Dynasty. Language standardization became the core of his linguistic view, regarding the language specification as important content for social norms in the transition period, stressing ＂recycling the old for new ＂ and ＂convention- ality＂, which not only agrees to the requirements of the cultural rebuilding trend, but proposed specific guidelines for the implementation, and was ultimately practiced through the efforts of Li Si and others in the Qin Dynasty, Xun Zi＇s linguistic theory shows its a certain theoretical and practical value for present language culture construction.
