ATH对无卤阻燃型EPDM性能的影响 被引量:9

摘要 研究了不同粒径氢氧化铝(ATH)及用量对无卤阻燃型三元乙丙橡胶性能的影响。结果表明,小粒径ATH有助于保持硫化胶力学性能并提高阻燃性能;填充120目ATH的EPDM硫化胶拉伸强度仅为9.0MPa,填充7000目ATH的硫化胶拉伸强度为14.7MPa;ATH粒径变小对EPDM硫化胶的电绝缘性能影响不大。ATH用量增加,硫化胶力学性能下降,阻燃性能得到改善;当ATH用量为0份时,硫化胶氧指数仅为19.3%;当ATH用量为200份时,氧指数达到40.2%;ATH用量为140份时,垂直燃烧水平达到FV-0级。DMA数据显示,ATH粒径越小,EPDM胶料的贮能模量越大,tgδ值越小,Tg向低温方向偏移。 Effects of aluminum hydroxide with different particle diameters(ATH) and its content on the properties of halogen-free flame retardant EPDM blends were researched.The results showed that the small particle diameters ATH was conducible to maintain the mechanical properties of the vulcanizate,and increased the flame resistance;The tensile strength of EPDM vulcanizate filled with 120 mesh ATH was 9.0 MPa,while the tensile strength of the vulcanizate filled with 7000 mesh ATH was 14.7 MPa;Effect of the decrease of ATH particle diameters on the electrical insulation performance of EPDM vulcanizate was little.The mechanical properties of the vulcanizate decreased when increasing the content of ATH,while the flame resistance was improved.The oxygen index of the vulcanizate was 19.3% when the content of ATH was 0 phr;The oxygen index was 40.2% when the content of ATH was 200 phr;The vertical combustion grade achieved FV-0 when the content of ATH was 140 phr;DMA results showed that the smaller the particle diameters of ATH,the bigger the storage energy modulus of EPDM blends,and the lower the tanδ,and Tg moved to the low temperature.
