多元智能理论由美国认知心理学家Howard Gardner在1983年首先提出。理论关注学习者个体的智力差异,具有丰富的英语教学和教育内涵。本文的目的在于将多元智能理论应用于大学英语教学课堂并在此过程中探索出多元智能理论对大学英语后进生的转化策略。
The Theory of Multiple Intelligences was first put forward by Howard Gardner in 1983. The theory caters for intelligence discrepancy in individualized learners and it has rich connotations of English teaching and education. This passage focuses mainly on the application of MI theory to colledge English teaching class and searches out the strategies of improving underachievers' language competence.
