^(40)Ca(n,α)^(37)Ar反应的测量

Measurement of 40 Ca(n,α) 37 Ar reaction

摘要 快中子核反应数据,不论对反应堆的设计,还是对核反应机制和核结构的研究及其理论的发展均有着重要的意义。由于屏栅电离室的诸多特点,被用于快中子核反应截面、能谱及双微分截面的测量。作为系统研究的一部分,文章利用屏栅电离室在北京大学4.5MV静电加速器上对薄Ca靶的(n,α)反应进行测量,得到5MeV和6MeV时的40Ca(n,α0)37Ar、40Ca(n,α1,2)37Ar的角分布和反应截面,同时给出总截面及微分能谱。实验结果表明40Ca(n,α)37Ar的角分布大致关于90°对称,说明在此能区,复合核反应机制起主要作用。 Nuclear reaction data are very important not only for structure material of fusion reactor, but also for model theory. Gridded ionization chamber has already been used in measurements of (n,α) reaction because of its good properties. As a part of systematic investigation, in this paper, gridded ionization chamber was applied in the measurements of 40 Ca(n,α) 37 Ar reaction at neutron energy of 5MeV and 6MeV, and angular distribution, cross section and differential energy spectra were obtained for 40 Ca(n,α 0) 37 Ar reaction and 40 Ca(n,α 1,2 ) 37 Ar reaction. Angular distributions are almost symmetric about 90 degree. The results show that the reaction is mainly compound nucleus reaction mechanism in this energy range.
