In the present paper the characteristics of mould CAD/CAE/CAM technology were summarized,and the application of mould CAD/CAE/CAM technology at home and abroad was overviewed. As the mould CAD/CAE/CAM technology development tends to the integration,networking,standardization,specialization,openness,virtualization,professional and intelligent direction,it must play more and more important role in the product design and manufacturing.
