华裔美国女作家谭恩美把自己和母亲黛西真实的人生经历作为小说《喜福会》的创作背景和题材,并试图通过这部小说,打破女性的沉默和身份危机,调解母女之间的冲突,探索死亡与迷信的意义。
Amy Tan,a Chinese American woman writer,takes her and her mother,Daisy′s true life experiences as the background and creative material of her novel The Joy Luck Club,by which she tries to break through the reticence and the identity crisis of the female,mediate the conflicts between mother and daughter and explore the meanings of death and superstition.
