摘要
本文首先提出了城市职能的两个基本属性──由城市职能组分的配置关系所确定的结构属性和由城市职能的影响尺度及范围所反映的空间特征。接着揭示了城市职能的三个重要特征──等级特征、量态特征和同比特征，它们分别用职能层次、职能规模和职能强度来表征，最后对这些概念的内涵和外延进行了分析讨论。
Firstly, this artical puts forward a new concept-urban function property, one is structure property which means the disposition relation among function components, another is spatial property which reflects the regional measure and scope what urban function influences. Then, the article analyses three important characteristics of urban function that are hierarchical, quantitative, and compared ones, those can be expressed by function level, function scale, function intensive separately. The intension and extension of those characteristics are discussed lastly.
