Based on the wave data of two stations measured in a beach and surf zone under different wave conditions,the wavelet spectra were computed by using wavelet transform and the statistically significant levels were tested.The results showed:① The remarkable multiple scales of wave energy oscillations exist in the surf zone;② Under normal wave condition,wave energy is mainly distributed in the wind wave frequencies,and transferred from high to low frequencies while the incident wave propagates from the outer station to the inner station;③ The wave energy increases towards infragravity wave frequencies under the high waves,and the phase relations between two stations are in accordance on the significant scales of infragravity waves.
