摘要
矛盾修辞法是一种特殊的语言现象。从关联理论和语用学的角度对语言交际中矛盾修辞法的主要功能进行了分析和探究,可以看出它的运用看似互相矛盾、对立,实际上蕴涵着发人深省的深刻哲理。正确运用这种修辞手段,有可能化平淡为神奇,达到引人入胜、意想不到的修辞效果。
Oxymoron is a special kind of language phenomenon.This paper analyzes and explores the main functions of oxymoron in language communication from the points of view of relevance theory and pragmatics.Its usage seems contradictory but implies profound meaning.Proper using of oxymoron may offer fascinating and unexpected effect.
