摘要
目前,高职院校英语课堂普遍存在着学生消极沉默现象。大多数学生在课堂活动中表现得相当被动,不愿意说或者没东西可说是学生选择沉默的主要症结。本文试图分析造成高职院校英语课堂沉默现象的因素以及探讨解决这一问题的方法和措施,以打破沉默,促进课堂交流。
At present ,there is a tendency for higher vocational college students to keep silent in EFL class.Most of the students are quite passive in class activities.Being unwilling to say and having nothing to say are the major causes for students＇silence.In order to break the ice and promote class communication,the paper tries to analyze the causes for the silence in higher vocational college EFL class and seek for the solutions to the problem.
