从文化语境视角论桂林汉语旅游宣传资料的英译 被引量:4

摘要 语言、文化和翻译,关系十分密切。在桂林旅游文化的对外宣传中,是否能准确地将相关信息传播给外国游客朋友,将直接影响到桂林旅游业的拓展。以系统功能语言学的文化语境理论为依据,结合桂林的旅游宣传资料,以中译英实例简要分析了文化语境理论的影响,并据此提出了具体的翻译策略建议。希望译员在翻译旅游宣传资料时能加强跨文化意识,切合当地文化而灵活采用翻译策略,最终达到宣传桂林文化的目的。同时,规范和标准的桂林旅游宣传材料英语版本能使东盟国家的商家和游客进一步了解广西文化,有助于促进经济发展,提升广西的国际形象。 Language,culture and translation are closely related to one another.In the process of publicizing information of tourist attractions,whether the foreign tourists can accurately understand the information directly influences the development of tourism of Guilin.This paper selects the context of culture theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics as the theory guide,and succinctly analyzes the effect of the context of culture theory to Chinese-English translation of Guilin tourist publicity materials cases.And then some suggestions of translation strategies are offered.It is suggested that,translators should enhance cross-culture consciousness when they are doing translation of tourist publicity materials,and use translation strategies in a flexible way and relate them to local cultures to achieve the goal of publicizing beautiful scenes of Guilin.Meanwhile,the standard and accurate English Guilin tourist publicity materials can help the tourists and businessmen who come from ASEAN countries understand the culture of Guangxi,which is helpful to promote the economic development and enhance the international image of Guangxi.
