摘要
目前期刊编目的不规范现象非常普遍,其主要是由出版物不规范(如刊号、邮发代号的混乱,期刊更名,期刊出版周期发生变化,出现期刊的附刊、合刊现象等)和编目人员水平参差不齐(如期刊信息揭示不完整,重复著录或著录错误,缺少主题标引,分类号不统一等)造成的。期刊编目规范化策略主要有:实现在版编目、抓住著录要点和及时进行著录校对。
Owing to nonstandard publications and different abilities of catalogers, there are many nonstandard phenomena in journal cataloging. The nonstandard publications include the disorder of CN and ISSN, renaming of journals, variation of the publication cycle of journals, and the supplement and combined issue of journals. The different abilities of catalogers include the incompletion periodical information, repetition and faults of cataloguing, absence of subject indexing and disunity of classification number. To solve these problems, several ways are suggested to keep the standardization of journal cataloging, such as cataloging books in print, catching key points of description and correcting the description in time.
