In BIW development of new vehicles,Dimensional management is an effective way to improve the design quali ty.The function of Dimensional management and its work process is introduced,the specific application of Dimensional management in BIW development is also discribed in detail in the paper.All of these efforts are contributing to the im provement of design quality and manufacturing accuracy of BIW.
